Studies show that obesity is rising very rapidly in the United States. What's more alarming is that the percentage of overweight children has also been increasing through the years. The obesity epidemic is because of unhealthy diets and not enough exercise. Especially young kids, who don't want to participate in recreations such as playing in the playground or participating in sports like basketball and baseball. Children nowadays like staying at home to watch television, play on their computers, PSP, PS3 and other game consoles. Coupled with a diet largely composed of sodas, burgers, and chips, it wouldn't be a surprise that these children will be sick at a really young age and never live past 50.
Obesity occurs when you eat too many calories but don't burn them through exercise. Although the biggest component that causes people to become overweight is the environment, with the proper perseverence, the problem can be avoided. Your chance of obtaining harmful diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, stroke, arthritis, sleep apnea, gallbladder disease, and cancer, raises if you're or become overweight. This is exactly why as early as now, take care of your body by having a proper diet and do regular workouts. On the other hand, if your child is obese or overweight, you can take a positive step and make your entire family exercise eating healthy foods daily, and you can commence an activity for the whole family that induces movement of the body, which may become your child and the whole family's exercise routines.
Presently the Asian diet is quickly becoming the diet of choice amongst lots of people who're looking for an effective way to lose and maintain their weight lost. The advantages of the diet is spreading largely by word of mouth through people who have tried out the diet and found it to be valuable. They are passing on the recipes to friends and family and speaking about the results they are obtaining from practicing Asian Fitness and Exercise. It's not to say that the internet hasn't proved to be a great resource to learn more about the diet. In fact the moment people hear about it they do more research on the web. Fortunately there are several websites and ebooks created just to keep the public informed.
One such website that I have found is Dina's Asian Diet, Nutrition and Fitness blog. This is a respected blog in which the writer provides a wealth of information on healthy and delicious Asian recipes and guidelines for remaining healthy. Distinct from other blogs of this nature she is truly a born and raised Asian. One valuable tip I took away from this web site is the benefits of bee products like honey and propolis.
The Asian diet is a great way to fight obesity. This growing rate of obesity is not showing signs of slowing down but you do not have to be a part of it. Ensure the health of your family by making a change towards healthy eating and exercise today.
Some of the asian recipes can be exotic and exciting, but remember, that most of the asian recipes contains elements that may be hard to find. Buy everything before cooking!
