So you’ve finally completed your home, well externally for that matter or otherwise knows as the shell of the building. Then comes the internal or interior design planning, that people will then focus on getting done. People don’t realise that this can be not the hardest of tasks in the whole project but just very stressful quite simply because people in this area tend to go over budget. The interior may also be something that the male partner will really stress about as the female partner may have all kind of ideas which just are not viable to do within budget or just crazy ideas.
When it comes to do the bathroom you may have to decide which type and style of bathroom you want to have. A modern and stylish bathroom or a traditional and contemporary bathroom. This choice has to be made by you and it could even show what kind of a person you are.
When deciding which bathroom style you want for your home you should decide which kind of taps you want for your bathroom. If you have chosen to install and design a more traditional look and feel of a bathroom then the cross heads taps for the basin tap and the bath tap should be on top of your shopping list. You don’t want to put something minimalist or like a waterfall tap in your traditional bathroom quite simply because it’s not going to match the entire bathroom.
With traditional bathroom taps you can choose from having the words "hot" and "cold" printed on the indices of the taps to give the bathroom taps a finishing touch. Or you can simply choose to have the taps in plain without the hot and cold. Although we know that the hot is always to the left and the cold water to the right but what if you have a visitor coming from overseas and what if they don’t know if it’s going to pour out hot or cold water? Be on the safe side and invest in printed hot and cold on the indices.
If you have chosen to design your bathroom in a more modern style then you can choose from minimalist array of design taps. You can choose from single levers, to water effect taps to even sensor bathroom taps.
Choosing the bath taps itself may be a hard choice. Because you can have the pair of hot and cold taps, then the bath mixer taps with the shower head attached or a bath filler which basically can mix your hot and cold water together without the shower head.
Which tap you buy for your bath will entirely depend on you and your family. The older generation much prefer the hot and cold bath taps quite simply because they were brought up with the hot and cold water. But parents with young children may prefer the bath mixer tap because the parents can give the children a quick shower in the morning without having to worry about getting wet from splash backs as from the shower enclosures.
Adam is an expert when it comes to choosing kitchen taps and will give out advice for when you are shopping for your taps.
